There's power in a minute.

There's power in a minute.

One minute can push you forward on the slight edge.

In one minute, you can be a better person than you were a minute ago.

In one minute, you can be a stronger person than you were a minute ago.

In one minute, you can have more integrity with yourself than you had a minute ago.

One minute.

In one minute you can . . .

Drink a glass of water.

Make a phone call.

Say thank you.

Put on your running shoes and head out the door to go exercise.

Feel grateful for one specific thing.

Say a prayer.

Brush your teeth.

Do jumping jacks and change your energy.

Pop in a personal development CD.

Look at your dream board and visualize where you're headed.

Say a positive affirmation.

Memorize a word from a foreign language.

Cut up a fruit or vegetable to eat.

I find that I can get more done when I don't concentrate so much on the task.  I just tell myself how long the task right in front of me is going to take.  One minute?  Five minutes?  30 seconds?  You know what, you may not feel like you are completely brave, or motivated, or disciplined, but you CAN act like you're brave for 20 seconds, you CAN act like you're motivated for 30 seconds, you CAN act like you're disciplined for one minute.  I didn't say you had to BE it.  All you have to do is ACT like it.  Fake it till you make it.  One minute here.  One minute there.  What does a minute mean to you?  Just another 60 seconds?  Or an opportunity to up-level your life?
